Full Circle

Have you ever heard the expression?

“What goes around comes around”

In my experience, it’s mostly been used to connote some sort of negative comeuppance and told ya so finger-pointing.

However, there’s also a really positive loop one can find themselves in whereby you keep going from strength to strength and from one good situation to an even better one. This is what you might call good karma!

I’ve certainly had my share of good/bad fortune and lived on both sides of this coin. I’ve watched good friends, family members and business colleagues wrestle with creating both the life they want and the continuous mediocre outcomes they don’t want.

After five decades of life experience, I’m completely convinced that it all boils down to how we deal with each situation, occurrence, challenge, issue, problem or accident that comes our way. As well, how we respond to friendly gestures, helping hands, politeness, accolades, good press and good intentions that are bestowed upon us.

How you run your life is how you run your business. Very few people have the acting skills and brainpower to play two completely different roles day in and day out for an extended period of time. One act generally dominates and pervades our whole life. This is why “so-called” workaholics often have major difficulties in running their personal lives. They might be very effective and efficient in their businesses but eventually, troubles start erupting there too.

We must be cognizant of the fact that we are a “Whole Human Being” and if we neglect to recognize this then, YES, What Goes Around, Will Come Around!

Ancient wisdom consistently reminds us that we have 4 rooms in our house we must attend to or rather we have 4 pillars that constitute our foundation. They are:

Physical (Body) – Mental (Mind) – Emotional (Heart) & Spiritual (Soul)

Each of these rooms must be swept daily, therefore we must do something to give each our life’s pillars some positive attention. To honour our body we can make sure we try to get a good night’s sleep, eat healthy foods, drink water and take nice walks or some fun exercise each day.

When we think positive thoughts throughout our day, think of our loved ones, take mental breaks from our focused work, we give our mind a rest.

When we lighten up and laugh with others or even to ourselves or when we pay attention and make a focused effort to help someone or ease their burden then we strengthen our heart and when we honour our precious moments and feel gratitude for all the wonder in our lives we raise our spirit and deepen our soul.

This is the way we can create a positive feedback loop that will allow us to experience life and business as it was meant to be. By following this natural flow we create our own Success Circle which will not only uphold our current situation and continue to propel us, our life and our businesses to greater and greater heights. But will give us that extra momentum we need to push for goals and heightened experiences that we never imagined we could reach. This is our natural birthright and by allowing ourselves to be whole we allow continued success to flow.

Enjoid your writings ones again. Hope you come up with a spiritual novel someday. Sweeping the four rooms is a reward in it self.

    1. Thanks Ali, I think you’re onto something. I haven’t thought of writing a spiritual novel but it seems I’m heading in that direction!! 🙂 You’ll be the first to know.
