Diminishing Doubt

Building trust is more than just appearing sincere in front of your potential client or customer. In fact, you can’t really “try” to be sincere in the first place without coming across as attempting to be manipulative in a way. That is, unless either

  • you are a well trained actor or,
  • your client is not paying close attention.

And if this is the case then you’re probably not creating personal engagement very well which is your basic level 101 sales requirement.

The most effective way to Diminish Doubt is of course to have “no doubt” personally in your product or service, as well as, confidence in your ability to deliver on your promises.

All too often, sales people fail to whole-heartedly believe in their product and services and this is where the whole process starts and finishes with the potential client.

The more time invested educating your self and your sales staff on all the benefits of your particular products and services, including customer satisfaction surveys, complaint handling, and your unique value proposition the better you and your sales team will perform and feel proud to represent your company.

The more you can remove the seed of doubt from yourself and your front line sales staff the more powerful sales performance both you and your team will deliver. Not to mention valuable references from your biggest fans, business cheerleaders and affiliates.

Paying your people well and giving them recognition is only half the equation. The other half is in the minds of your sales people. Invest in the above areas and you will undoubtedly get a return over and above your initial outlay in time and capital.
